Services
The first session is generally reserved for completing the Initial Assessment. This assessment functions as a comprehensive questionnaire through which we will examine your reasons for seeking therapy, family and social dynamics, career, and other pertinent aspects of your life. During this initial appointment, you will also have the opportunity to consider your therapeutic objectives and articulate your expectations for therapy. I encourage your feedback and your engagement in this process!

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a concept that focuses on how thoughts influence our actions, there by creating patterns of behavior—whether healthy or unhealthy—that shape the world we live in. This treatment approach is appropriate for both youth and adults.

Women's Mental Health
Women's mental health services address the unique psychological, emotional, and social needs of women throughout various stages of life. These services often provide support for issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, reproductive mental health (including perinatal and postpartum concerns), relationship challenges, and the impact of gender-based violence. Services are delivered with sensitivity to the distinct experiences and challenges women may face. The goal of women’s mental health services is to empower women to achieve overall well-being, resilience, and improved quality of life.

Adolescent Development
Adolescent mental health care focuses on supporting the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of individuals aged 13 to 17. Therapists work collaboratively with families and schools (if needed) to promote resilience, healthy coping skills, and positive relationships. The goal is to help adolescents navigate developmental changes, overcome challenges, and achieve their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.

This evidence-based therapy includes psychoeducation, relaxation techniques, emotion regulation, and cognitive coping skills to address traumatic experience. My goal is to provide a safe space for clients to process their experiences.

Cultural Competent Care
Cultural competency includes not just ethnic and racial diversity but also religious views, belief systems, and other unique traits.
